2018 vintage

With the pressing of Sangiovese on October 21st 2018 the harvest of this year officially closes.

A season not as easy as climate, hot but humid, in the end it brought us a smaller quantity of grapes due to the diseases (downy mildew and powdery mildew) which under the organic regime are not easy to stem but with an average high quality.

We are not used to shouting at the best vintage of the century, but this seems qualitatively an excellent year.
