Replacing head posts

During the winter we do all those jobs that due to lack of time we can’t do during the summer.

One of these is the replacement of the head poles of the rows in fact, while the intermediate ones are in iron, those of the head are in chestnut wood and over time are ruined, losing their ability to withstand the effort of supporting the weight of the vegetation.

Let’s start with the new poles, which are lightly burned in the part that will be placed on the ground to keep them waterproof, a little shovel and we will replace them.

We unplug all the wires, remove the rotten pile, open a hole with the spade, insert the new pole and reattach all the wires.

A hard work but necessary to keep our rows in order.
